'Stung' is a zine I make each month. As a photographer and visual artist, it's a place for me to share artwork, photos and text. It's a way for me to connect through sharing ideas, art and music.
Each month's full colour issue has a different theme, which will either be a reflection on a topic I'm interested in, or feelings about the world around me and my experiences.
Issue #21 is 16 pages of my photography and writing, plus some hand stamped pages I made using Play-Doh and ink.
I recently received a heavy diagnosis after 2 years of illness and no answers. Facing a future of disability with no cure is hard. I am so grateful I have an outlet where I can share my experiences, and make art about this topic as a way to navigate through it. I appreciate your support 🫶🏻
